Brooklyn Avenue Block Association - Meeting Notes

Next meeting is Sunday, March 23, 11am at 251 Brooklyn Avenue.

BABA submits grant proposal to Citizens Committee NYC to clean, green and reach out to others. First event is a litter pick up on Brooklyn Avenue conducted by BABA and Clean Up Crown Heights on February 23. This event was supported by the following: St. Marks Independent Block Association, the Brooklyn Children's Museum, Brower Park Library, Friends of Brower Park Library, Friends of Brower Park, Sterling Place Block Association, and the Crown Heights Care Collective. The clean up took place with about 25 volunteers who afterward got coffee and pastry at Imael Cafe.
